Pros

I don't know what magic our Talent Acquisition team has but for the size of our global team, it's amazing to see how the vast majority of employees are good humans who care about others, are humble, have excellent work ethic, and are able to achieve company goals. Over the years we're still able to keep our culture and values going strong. Change is not as fast as we hope it could be given our scale but I do see our leadership constantly being open, listening to feedback, and making changes over time. Leadership has always put its people first and the team has gone through many lengths to ensure we are cared for and supported especially during the pandemic. The company is able to offer support to our communities by not just donating towards causes but by action: giving our products for free to those who need it most and by encouraging volunteerism.

Cons

With the size and scale that we have there still are unfortunately some teams that you hear of with not-so-great managers.

Pros

The work culture is amazing and highly collaborative. There are plenty of opportunities to learn new technologies, and the perks/benefits are excellent. The work culture is amazing and highly collaborative. Cons

The company is growing very fast, so internal processes and structure change frequently. Work-life balance can be tricky during big product launches.

Pros

Product is beloved by users. Brand affinity is second to none which makes being a marketer a lot of fun. Genuinely good and caring coworkers who want to build something great. Hiring bar is high. Vibe and Thrive benefit is clever and unique.

Cons

Behind the brand is a cult like culture with the “founders” surrounded by yes people (whether they are aware of it or not). Mediocrity seems to be tolerated among management’s “old guard” causing tension and churn with newer and sometimes more experienced leaders. Insecure leaders at some of the highest levels perpetuate much of the toxic behaviors described in the reviews below such as gaslighting and favoritism. People “disappear” with little to no explanation, but hey, it’s the “Canva way”.
