Pros
- Sociable group of colleagues - Constant experimentation with better ways to do things (with incremental success!) - Excellent benefits - Very reasonable work hours with flexibility to work from home - Knowledgeable team mates who support and learn from each other - The code's real nice to work in, very good development environment - Lots of comfy chairs on the quiet side of the office when you just need to zone into the code
Cons
- There's a lot of tribal knowledge in the tech space. It's very hard to figure out the code on your own without prying a lot of information out of a few heads - Scant infrastructure for managing work from home. Calling into meetings is possible but no screen sharing yet.
