Pros

You learn a lot and have a lot of responsibility. The boss is great and knows Amazon very well.

Cons

High turn over rate. They have super high expectations but won’t give you the tools to do what they want you to do. They think everything can be created with AI and just want to replace the creative jobs with AI. They refuse to pay models (which are kids) $20 to model when they make millions. There’s usually 4 or 5 people involved in each creative process so it’s hard to get anything done. If you get paid more they question you more. Especially if you’re in a creative position. All photographers and a few graphic designers I’ve talked to have said the similar things. It’s assembly line type of work which is fine but it’s hard to balance everything and everything is an emergency.

Pros

Good hard working people, snacks.

Cons

If you’re reading this because you’re thinking about working here, please, really think about it. I used to see reviews like this and assume people were exaggerating — they weren’t. I thought I’d be the exception, that I’d just work hard and stay out of trouble. It doesn’t work like that here. I saw good people get yelled at for things that didn’t deserve it. That kind of treatment isn’t normal, and it’s not professional. I promise you, no one deserves that. Getting screamed at or humiliated doesn’t “push” anyone to do better, it just breaks people down. It’s so heartbreaking to watch this because they’re talented people who deserve to be treated with respect. Crying is normalized and that's just baffling to me. I didn’t realize how much that environment was affecting me until I left. You start thinking that constant anxiety and tension are just part of work, they’re not. I've been at my new job for a while now, where people actually listen, love you, help each other, and speak kindly. I look at this experience like a bad boyfriend and want to warn you that this is not worth it! I finally feel human again. To anyone still there: please remember that being yelled at or disrespected isn’t “part of the job.” It’s not something you have to accept. You deserve a workplace that values you, not one that makes you afraid to show up. And to anyone thinking of joining — listen to your gut and stay away!
