Pros

As an outsourcing and consulting company, Capgemini's product is it's people. It's harder to recruit than retain, so Cap is more than willing to train you if you show a desire to remain with the company. The company is willing to send people for offsite training and to aquire on-site training. It provides a very robust offering of on-line resources to enhance your skills.

Cons

Given that Cap is an oursourcing, or consulting, company, if the client contract terminates, you may have to move to remain employed with Cap. Being a HUGE company, sometimes there is a lack of personalized attention from management.

Pros

Laidback environment depending which project / manager you’re under. Lots of flexibility. Great entry level role but once you’re a senior it’s hard to move up, request increases etc

Cons

Very slow growth, way underpaid for the industry and work you’re doing, not much autonomy for the type of work you can do, I was a senior on paper but didn’t feel like it since I was always thrown on random projects and don’t have a niche skill set or expertise in a certain area
