Pros

Not many to even try to list. Well maybe some of the co-workers.

Cons

If you like working for a company that tells ALL of your business around the dinner table, this is the place for you.

Pros

Company has a decent reputation and has been around for decades. Plenty of work and ample overtime. Time and one half on Saturdays and double time on Sundays. There is no qualifying (40 man hours) to receive overtime pay. If you work after hours, weekends or holidays then you receive overtime pay. All field service personal have a vehicle. Health benefits are expensive but good coverage. Hourly rate is higher than average for non union companies.

Cons

Lots of driving. Customers wait to repair equipment until peak season as a reactive stance. Some contracts (building/sites) are in such disarray, Band-Aids on top of Band-Aids. When its catastrophically down, broken or burned out....its hurry up and get the building back on line like yesterday mentality. Lots of turnover in the service department. Techs burned out. Work, Work, Work and What have you done for me lately approach from management.

Pros

They provide you with tools and they pay well

Cons

A lot of corporate BS, broken promises, and rules that are always changing. You can never do enough to be outstanding in managements eyes and when one person messes up they take it out on everyone. If your not close to the managers in the corporate office (the club) you'll go nowhere but out the door.
