Great Place - Head of Product Capshare Employee Review

Capshare is a great place to work for anyone looking to work at a fun tech company. The flexibility is a huge plus, and the coworkers are great. Finance can be a somewhat dry industry, but Capshare does a fantastic job at making it new and exciting. The software is complicated, which makes it challenging and engaging work.

The lack of full team meetings is a bit of a pro and a con. We're not encumbered by tons of meetings, but I also feel like I'm not able to get to know everyone very well. The culture is fairly sales focused, probably mostly due to the CEO working as the head of the sales team. This leads to the management team focusing the majority of their time and efforts on the sales team and sales strategy.

Capshare is a great place to work. The culture is open, fun, and transparent. The leadership setup is flat and everyone has a voice and the ability to make changes if they decide to take it upon themselves. You work very autonomously with no hand holding. The culture is fun, hard working, and there is a lot of opportunity to contribute everywhere.

There is no hand holding. The autonomy is great but it is a hectic environment with little process. Onboarding is non-existent. It's a bit wild west, which can be a pro or a con depending on the person. If you need to be told what to do and have structure it may be stressful.
