Barely any time off, “work till you die” attitude, very low ceiling, all higher management are related to the owner

Thank you for your feedback. We just recently added additional paid time off for all employees, expanding our vacation policy. We also strive to help all employees to grow to their fullest potential, providing career opportunities whenever possible to allow both our employees and the company to grow. We disagree with your statement that all higher management roles are filled by people related to me, as the majority are not and never have been. However, we are a family company at our roots and thus some family members work here. We wish you the best in your future endeavors and we appreciate your contributions while you were a part of our team.
- Good benefits and work schedule... no weekends
- Many opportunities for career growth across the board
- CaptiveAire continues to reinvest in their operations and staff year over year
- Education & certification reimbursement program
- Generally promotes within and provides in-house, on the job training
- Monthly bonus for all employees
- Free lunch every week for all employees
- Safety and quality are the main focus
Almost no Pros for this position, if you are just looking for a manufacturing role this seems like an alright company that at least tries to care about you.
The free lunches are usually pretty good too.
Cons
Bad pay, very strict time schedules, and ZERO engineering experience expected to be gained from this role. You are treated as a full time manufacturing associate. This entire company does not know how to utilize talent accordingly, engineers are doing menial tasks and you are doing NOTHING. Every promotion or managerial position seems to be decided entirely on if you are related to someone higher up in the company or if you are buddy buddy with a manager.
