Pros

If you are someone who wakes up eager to take on new challenges, this is the company for you. CaptiveAire takes STEM-minded folks, and allows them to achieve their full potential. Each day typically contains its own mixed bag of problems, and it is up to you (and only you) to turn those problems into opportunity for the company. If this idea is exciting to you, stop reading and apply. If not, this is not the company for you. CaptiveAire enables each employee to be bold and make good decisions. You are not limited by red tape or endless rules. You are only limited by your own growth obstacles and the amount of hours in a day.

Cons

If you do not speak up, concerns that require additional resources or managerial intercession may never be realized by anyone but you. I can imagine this may be difficult for those who are not outspoken by nature. From my experience, this is not because you are not cared about, it's because the company is growing at such a fast pace that it is hard to know about problems that are not brought to light by employees.

Pros

Almost no Pros for this position, if you are just looking for a manufacturing role this seems like an alright company that at least tries to care about you. The free lunches are usually pretty good too.

Cons

Bad pay, very strict time schedules, and ZERO engineering experience expected to be gained from this role. You are treated as a full time manufacturing associate. This entire company does not know how to utilize talent accordingly, engineers are doing menial tasks and you are doing NOTHING. Every promotion or managerial position seems to be decided entirely on if you are related to someone higher up in the company or if you are buddy buddy with a manager.
