Pros

Gig Harbor location was very peaceful and easy going. The patients were kind and friendly.

Cons

Terrible management. They treated their hardworking employees like crap, and rewarded the crappy ones. You were overworked and underpaid. Very clique-y, petty high school drama with all the MA's, couldn't count on your coworkers to help you. The RN's constantly throwing things at you to do and then throw you under the bus when you weren't able to finish any of your tasks. The providers would rather be in the cath lab than be in clinic to see patients.

Hello there, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. While I'm truly sorry to hear that your time with us ended on such a disappointing note, we appreciate your years of service and the impact you had during your time at Cardiac Study Center, especially in supporting our patients. I'm particularly grateful for your mention of the Gig Harbor team and the patients—those relationships are often the heart of what makes healthcare meaningful. Your feedback reflects some serious concerns, and while it’s difficult to hear, we recognize how important it is to listen and continue evolving. Our organization has undergone considerable change in recent years, including a renewed focus on leadership accountability, team culture, and support for clinical staff. We know that words alone won’t change anyone’s past experience, but please know that we’re committed to building a work environment rooted in collaboration, respect, and growth. We wish you the very best in your career moving forward, and thank you again for your contributions. Sincerely, The Cardiac Study Center Talent Acquisition Team

Pros

HR and onboarding team are extremely responsive and helpful. The onboarding structure has been fantastic and supportive for a new leader, including meetings with leaders across the organization to learn processes, role interactions, and key contacts for support. The company appears growth-oriented, with advancement discussed early and leaders who support employees who want to grow.

Cons

As with any growing organization, there is much to learn early on and many processes to understand. The pace can feel busy at times while becoming fully oriented.

Pros

Physician leadership - The organization is physician-owned and operated, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality cardiology care. The partnership blends the advantages of private practice with the resources of a large health system, allowing for faster improvements and to move more nimbly! Connecting people with purpose - Cardiac Study Center has partnered with MultiCare Pulse Heart Institute and is experiencing rapid growth, expanding services to more communities across Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. This is a really exciting time to join the team and make a meaningful impact! Employee benefits – In 2025 the organization switched to Premera for health insurance and added a PPO and HSA plan, with options starting at no cost to the employee. They are listening to feedback and have more comprehensive benefits options.

Cons

Comfortable with ambiguity – While this growth presents an exciting opportunity for professional development and advancement, it also means working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Successful team members must be comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable, ready to embrace change with an open and flexible mindset.
