Pay for a full-time LTM is very low for what we are asked to do. Offering commission on leases is fine, but it seems a lot of the leads I am the first to respond to get assigned to other team members. Same happens when I take up a lead another agent has neglected.
Haven't really seen how new employees can advance. Managers are always busy with reports and the full-time LTMs have to fill that void on the sales floor and pick up the slack of some Community Interns that don't really invest themselves into the business.
Even though Cardinal owns the property I don't really see much outreach to residents to understand the issues at play. It is far easier to provide quality customer service when management is interested in it. I feel horrible when I ask someone to renew their lease and then they give me a bucket list of problems that haven't been addressed. I have been able to handle and fix some of these issues with the help of maintenance but this shouldn't happen in the first place.
