Worst place to work - Grievance and Appeals Specialist CarePlus Health Plans Employee Review

Careplus is the worst place I have ever worked. The pressure they put on employees to complete cases is unheard of. The timeframes allowed are internal and have nothing to do with Medicare guidelines. Because of these internal timeframes you are required to stay late, sometimes until 9 pm. At times overtime is not approved and therefore employees have no choice but to continue working off the clock in order to preserve their jobs. It is no wonder why there is a huge turnover rate in this department. They consistently make you feel like your job is on the line. Management is the worst. The director of that department never shows any type of empathy toward employees. She often shows favoritism toward those that are close to her. The HR department is useless. There have been many complaints against the supervisors and the director and nothing ever gets done. I would think twice before even considering a position in this place.
