Company does not care about employees and is trying to cheat employees out of money. - Employee CareRev Employee Review

When I joined CareRev the company culture seemed to promote growth and rewarded hard work with promotions. Earlier this year they had massive layoffs as they did not want to raise money in a less than ideal captial environment and wanted to give themselves more runway. Since then the company culture has gone down the gutter. First they lied to everyone saying that promotions would not be affected and secretly denied promotions with no communication. They also implemented a bonus structure that is very vague and ties half of the bonus to the companies objectives not the employee effort. They also say not everyone on the team can earn a full bonus even if it's a team of high performers. Next they are now implementing geo pay in order to cheat employees out of their well earned salaries and save money. Some people could now get a promotion with no raise if they live in cheaper cities. The stocks aren't worth much at all and there really isn't any incentive to work hard. Most of the employees are upset. It's a shame a company with so much potential to be good has pulled such a 180.
