Pros
Pay is good.
As a federal contractor, hourly positions are paid the federal minimum wage which is usually much higher than the state minimum wage in Iowa. Management positions are compensated fairly well, especially when considering the local economy.
Great coworkers and dedicated individuals working to improve the lives of at risk youth.
Cons
Some front line staff expected to clock out but work through dinner breaks.
Onboarding and training is substandard.
Some members of the leadership team were emotionally and verbally abusive to employees they supervise. Upper management did nothing to correct after being made aware this was occurring.
