The senior management team are so full of themselves they fail to realise just what a negative affect it is having on all the other staff.
The introduction to the new development regime means that now everybody in project must be able to develop and test all their own work, PM's included.
There is no real separation of roles any more. This is a backwards step to where we were last year when we still had defined development teams and separate test teams and allowed for proper test cycles to take place.
Many staff are too frightened to talk out about this as they fear that they too could become a victim of the latest Cashfac craze..... redundancies.
5 staff were recently let go as they did not fit in with the must be able to do everything ethos.....good luck to those 5 as I think in many ways they were the lucky ones.
If this route of work continues then I can see more staff leaving as moral is now at rock bottom.
