Pros
Independence, very competitive salary and bonus structure. Low cost health insurance for area. Educational support. Mileage reimbursement per IRS rate. Most of all my patients are the best and being able to spend quality time in the home with them beats hospital nursing.
Cons
On call. It’s just bad. It’s essentially used as a second shift, so plan on working a double the days you’re on call. No one likes the process and everyone gets anxiety about their on call day.
