Great work life balance - Product Manager Catsy (IL) Employee Review

Technology is a bit fast paced and it can get a bit overwhelming in the beginning. But, I was given access to folks on the team who helped me gain better understanding of the moving pieces.

Technology may seem a bit fast paced, but, I was given access to folks on the team who helped me gain better understanding of the moving pieces. Other than that, there is very little to say here.

It is a fast paced work environment where everything you do will have an impact. You are given a lot of responsibility early on so you have the opportunity to learn quickly. Everyone in the office is working together to accomplish a common goal rather than getting involved with office politics like my previous job. If you have an opinion people will listen and your idea may actually be implemented regardless of how junior you are. All in all, it is an exciting place to work.

The work days are longer than a normal 9-5. You might be asked to do something you don't have a ton of experience in and your responsibilities may change every year. For me, that type of environment is great but if you want an environment that is never changing or exciting/stressful Catsy might not be the place for you.
