Pros

This is a great team of mission-driven, considerate, and socially-minded people, with a very welcoming and inclusive culture. Leadership and the team more broadly have successfully been able to cultivate a tight-knit and collaborative work environment as a remote-first workplace despite the fact that people are distributed across at least 4 time zones. Lots of flexibility and trust in employees. Unlimited PTO that people are actually encouraged to use as long as the work is getting done, which feels conducive to establishing a healthy work-life balance and generally a healthy company culture. Genuine commitment to and efforts to advance DEI (though having that reflected in the composition of the team has been a challenge).

Cons

Salaries are somewhat low; they may compare favorably to the nonprofit sector and the flexibility of the work compensates to an extent, but depending on your role there may be limited opportunities for upward career advancement within the company. There have been efforts to address this as the company continues to grow, and to create other opportunities for professional growth/development, but this is unlikely to be the place for you long-term if you have certain financial goals or are looking for a clear upward trajectory.

Pros

Love those that I work with all being mission oriented and devoted to supporting the entire team in addition to the nonprofits and corporate partners that we work with. There's lots of room for constant improvement and ability to speak freely.

Cons

Everyone takes on a lot of responsibility in their work and due to rapid growth management needs to find a better balance
