Pros
I was able to meet with ALL of the key stakeholders that I would later work with. This gave me great insight into the culture and drive of the team.
Cons
The interview process was typical and appropriate ( about 3 weeks) but the background process was much longer than expected. My education and work experience is very basic (1 school and last employer was over 10 years) but the back and forth to get this done took weeks. I had the offer so I felt confident but this seemed unnecessary.
