Pros
Favorable circumstances for acquiring new skills and technology. Picking up new technology.
Cons
Some employees receive higher benefits than others, although they put in the same amount of work or perform the same things. There is a tendency among the management to give favors to some individuals and be elated by their achievements and overlook the achievements of others. There is a technical constraint as well. Biased performance appraisals impact management, and although the work environment is professional, no tours or recreational activities are offered. Office politics and favoritism deter worker morale by giving some workers undeserved favor. Management also begs employees, particularly those in the office full time, to work unpaid overtime or weekends. Overtime off-duty pay is an expectation, and regardless of whatever productivity there is, workers who put in extra hours on the job are often compensated. Management shows favoritism and often makes biased decisions, particularly favoring one employee who stays excessively long at the office. By consistently crossing lines and attempting to exert authority over others, this employee behaves as though he is a member of the management team. However, he is really appreciative of his friends who are now his coworkers.
