Pros

Salary is good, but not worth the unreasonable hours and stress due to the toxic work culture.

Cons

Cere Network (and it's new sister company Cef.ai) is managed very purely by the CEO - Fred Jin. Most people at the company are just trying to put on a facade of working a lot to not get yelled at and humiliated by Fred. No real work that leads towards goals gets done. The turnover at the company is extremely high because most people cannot put up with Fred's toxic behavior.

Pros

Nothing. Biggest mistake in my career to accept Cere Network's offer.

Cons

During a couple of weeks at Cere Network, it became clear that the company is highly dysfunctional, with little to no progress made over the past few years. There is no product-market fit and no structured approach to product discovery. Everyone at Cere Network reports directly to the founder and CEO/CTPO, Fred Jin, whose overbearing and difficult management style makes collaboration extremely challenging. The company could benefit greatly if employees were given more autonomy and there was new leadership. The interview process was also a negative experience, with interviewers either not showing up or arriving late without offering an apology. Promises made during the interview were disregarded once the job began.

Pros

Paid on time every month.

Cons

Cere Network has a distinctly challenging work environment, largely shaped by Fred Jin (the CEO) with his intense and at times, overbearing leadership style. His commitment to the company is undeniable, but the execution seems questionable. Over three years there have been zero tangible results. No products, customers, or significant achievements. They urgently need leadership changes.
