Pros
The lower level workers and some middle managers are very nice and easy and work with.
Cons
Getting paid market value is like pulling teeth. Be happy with whatever you get hired at. The executive level only wants to hear you say yes. If you speak honestly about any negative reality, you will be labeled as trouble. Don't believe any talk about Certus being people first. Employees are told team managed time off was for them. It was actually to save money since they don't need to pay out time off amounts for employees in states that require it. Managers are encouraged to watch time off amounts. Don't believe any diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) talk. When I worked there, there was no review process or measurable goals. In IT, DEI did not exist. Racial diversity isn't seen on the executive level. HR is present to help the company. There was no consequence for a male employee sending unwanted messages to a female employee. He received a promotion a few months later. The managers do something called a talent review where the actual employee is not involved. So if your manager doesn't like you, this is where they can say whatever they want and not be challenged. You will never see this rating and management keeps this a secret. All raises and bonuses are based on that. Your performance review is just for show. Get everything in writing so there is proof. In IT, the VP has his favorites. If you get on his bad side, you may not be working there much longer. Work life balance depends on your team.
