Pros

The people I have worked with have been pleasant and knowledgeable. The company is growing, which provides significant opportunity for those who seek advancement inside, and outside their career fields. Challenge management works with their employees to create a successful working environment if the individual voices a need for change. Overall, Challenge provides a great work-to-life ratio, and many of it's employees are invested, and want to do their best to continue the forward momentum the company has gained.

Cons

Annual reviews for employees paid on salary are not standard practice. Although, if the employee requests a review, they will receive one. Challenge does not have a strong HR department. Communication throughout the company is lacking.

Pros

The company offers a benefits package including medical insurance, a 401(k)/Roth retirement plan, and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), although the ESOP's performance has been underwider expectations. Employees are eligible for paid time off, accrued sick leave, and 40 hours of unpaid time off. Additionally, there is a desire to reinstate the previous $25 attendant's bonus program, which was a valued component of the compensation package.

Cons

The organization struggles with reliability, as promises are often not kept. Favoritism and dishonesty are prevalent, leading to a sense of disvaluation and lack of appreciation among team members. Opportunities are not equitably distributed, and management is ineffective, with a tendency to micromanage. Disrespectful behavior is exhibited, and communication is limited, requiring individuals to proactively seek information and answers to questions.
