7yThank you for your review and continued service with Charter College. Educating students is definitely a rewarding yet challenging position, and we could not do it without you!
Charter College is focused on educating the non-traditional student, but would disagree with the characterization of them being lost. We know the challenges they face, and labeling them as such only serves to negatively categorize their efforts.
We operate under the principle that all employees are responsible for student retention. If our instructors are not delivering quality classroom instruction, we know from experience that students vote with their feet. They will leave.
Our campuses use a variety of technologies to teach, and the utilization of cameras in the classroom is standard practice in educational institutions for a number of reasons.
All potential instructors participate in a three-step interview process to ensure they clearly understand the duties, responsibilities, time commitment and compensation for the role so they can make an informed decision.
We agree that we have clearly defined high standards for our instructors, and our expectations demand specific positive outcomes. Anything less would be a disservice to our students, employees, and company mission.
We ask that you reach out to your Program Manager or the Human Resources Department if the concerns presented in this review are preventing you from providing quality instruction. We value your efforts, and would like to help either in addressing some of the negativity you may be feeling,or to provide support as you continue in this critical role.
