Pros

Amazing projects that have a tangible impact on businesses, the environment, and industries. Great leadership. Access to 6 online therapy sessions with Konterra for employees, a great benefit to support mental health. Professional training allowance.

Cons

The gap in salary between local and expatriate employees is insanely high, which creates an unbalanced relationship with colleagues and how the company values their employees, and impacts how employees perceive themselves within the team. This is also due to local labour law. Nonetheless, salaries for locals should be revised to match their expertise and match the expatriates' salaries. This gap should be reduced to ensure everyone feels valued. The company is international and local projects collaborate with international donors and international colleagues, but the company do not provide any opportunity for staff to learn, grow, network and meet. No opportunity for international travel. These types of privileges are only for the high-level managers, like COPs and DCOPs. So when you leave the company, even though you've worked in an "international" organisation, you end up having almost zero international connections besides the colleagues you've worked closely with.

Pros

Truly a great company to work for, they care so much about work/life balance. Everyone is kind and they are like family.

Cons

It can be hard working from home because you never see your coworkers and sometimes you lose that momentum.

Pros

Clear company structure, processes, and tools. Professional development funds available. Easy-to-use and high-quality benefits. Pay is fair for the work.

Cons

"Company is family" mentality, sanitized rather than straightforward communications from executives, poor training, unclear standards of success, vague professional growth guidance and no clear paths towards becoming the ideal professional at this company.
