Pros
Extremely nice office space and decent compensation but please read cons before applying for or accepting a job.
Cons
Misleading - this is not a true non-profit instead an elitist company. Funds raised/donated are put towards the state of the art facility on Park Avenue, Administrative staff salaries and housing Psychiatrists/Psychologists who are fully for-profit charging an astonishing amount for therapy/evaluations. Funds do not support the actual aid of children with mental health conditions and patients are of the wealthiest families in New York City and pay a full fee. Therefore the mission statement that mentions improving care for children everywhere is false. High turnover rate due to poor management (no reviews, feedback or training) and toxic work environment if you have to work with the President. From observation female clinicians are treated much differently (negatively). Founder/President works hard but is cynical and has no respect for those beneath him even most members of his executive team. This might be expected (unfortunately) of a fortune 500 company but never of a "non-profit."
