The internship provided hands-on accounting experience in the energy industry. I worked on meaningful projects that improved data accuracy and operational processes.

Some tasks were highly detailed and time intensive, requiring long periods of focused work. There was a learning curve with complex systems and industry terminology.

Internship went very well and provided great experience. Everybody was extremely helpful and always eager to help/teach throughout the summer. 9-80 schedule with remote Mondays and Fridays are a huge plus.

Engineering internship program is still in the infant stages ( I think this summer was only the second year). There was a lot of transparency/unknowns about what a full time job and the training would look like if we were hired on full-time after the internship.
