Pros
The company is a French luxury brand and adopts some ways of French lifestyle which benefits our office greatly in my opinion - speaking French is a plus but not a requirement. There is a great amount of communication with France so working well with other cultures is a must. The corporate U.S team is small and relatively new/younger compared to other luxury companies of similar size. Salary is competitive. Company is rich in heritage, and is growing rapidly. This gives the company a start-up feel which motivates the office. There is multiple projects happening within all departments. Team building is one of the greatest perks - office snacks, hybrid work option, travel opportunities. Dinner, drinks and or lunch in Manhattan with coworkers who may live out of state. Management tries to care for well being and work-life balance.
Cons
Product is difficult to manufacture causing issues getting the product into customers hands. Culture of "old way" versus "new way"
