Pros
The best thing about the job is being able to make a difference in kids lives. I enjoyed it a lot. The elementary side is pretty decent. Most staff is cool and very helpful when it comes to problems. Would I work here again? No
Cons
The cons with working here begin when they don’t enforce calling out. You can call out a lot and it’s okay but it leaves students by themselves for hours. There is a lack of communication so everyday was a struggle and some T.As did whatever they wanted without following a schedule. Things happen, that’s okay, but you need to communicate. Also, not everyone is PCM trained so if all the PCM people are out, they have to call people from other parts of the school. They also pay you the same if you have years of experience versus someone who hardly worked in the field. There’s not one unified training of ABA so we all learn based off others verbatim and then sometimes we learn that we are doing things the wrong way. Favoritism played a big role in a lot of the issues.
