Pros
I started here as a Client Service Bookkeeper in 2014 when the company had multiple departments, which were slightly dysfunctional. Since then the company has changed and improved so much. There are no more multiple departments, there are fewer work-processes making it so much easier to do your job, and this can been seen in the interactions that we had with clients which were mainly positive by the time I left in 2018. I see some reviews on here that are clearly from ex-staff who were not very good at their jobs and acted like the world owed them something before actually earning it through hard work. In terms of positives of working for the company, they offer free parking, an employee rewards scheme with lots of great discounts, they are flexible with your hours if needs be, offer study support, and there are lots of experienced staff to help you learn and progress.
Cons
Whilst there are progression routes, because the staff in the positions of where I wanted to progress to had been at the company longer than I had, there was not really room for me to move my career on, and that is the main reason I looked elsewhere. It would also have been good if staff had access to a microwave and a refrigerator.
