Pros
Lots of responsibility and unique leadership opportunities that will be given based purely upon merit. Age and seniority play little to no role in promotions. It is all about what are your accomplishments and what can you do in the new position. I was responsible for over $3 million dollars in yearly spend and 12 employees at a very young age. It was an awesome responsibility and an experience that will shape me for the rest of my life.
Cons
Your experience will vary from location to location, region to region, and business unit to business unit. In my experience, the pay was awful, the hours were long, and the work could be disgusting. The biggest problem was that a lot of the goals set for management teams by corporate or regional were unrealistic. This resulted in rampant cheating by people trying to keep their jobs.
