Pros
My particular department had great training by many people, allowing me to get to know others and have a solid idea of how to do my job. Supervisors and managers in my department were all wonderful people who treated us like adults which is how it should be. Overtime was limited to only two hours over 40, anything else required approval.
Cons
The pay was not at all commensurate with the job responsibilities. A 2% raise on $12/hour handling multi-million dollar accounts was such a joke I literally laughed when I was told (to be fair, my supervisor thought it was just as awful as I did). Benefits were okay, vacation time not so great. Senior management gave face time to lower employees but didn't really like to listen to problems, perceived or otherwise. Management trainees were mostly men with just enough of a smattering of females to consider themselves "equal opportunity." Work limited to 40 hours, but enough work for 50+ so be prepared to let things fall by the wayside on a regular basis.
