Pros

- The work was relatively easy to pick up so you didn't need too much training when you join at a junior level - The team was amazing, made some of the closest friends ever here! - Some clients in my sector was really lovely and valued our work - Great management from some managers (though this was pretty rare within the department, I just got lucky) - Nice office and good location if you want a corporate vibe - Casual dress code within the department - Flexible working post-pandemic

Cons

- While some clients liked us and valued our work, most were very demanding and did not always trust our data, which made it difficult to feel like we were doing well - Some members of middle to upper management in the team were very micro-managementy and did not leave you to do your work even though you often had more experience than them in the role - Training for more senior roles was severely lacking, you were left to your own devices to deal with complicated accounts and unhappy clients - No culture whatsoever, especially during the pandemic - Really low salary!! The only way to get a pay rise is to threaten to leave, and even this doesn't always work - Bad communication with other departments within the company often leading to promises being made to clients that could not be fulfilled (leading to us having to tell the client we won't be able to deliver, making us look like the bad guys) - Long promotion process. You often have to apply for the role and go through at least 2 rounds of interviews for an internal promotion

Pros

Fun product to sell, genuinely can help customers, great coworkers

Cons

No pay raises in YEARS. Want to understand why morale is so low? Start here. No one wants to work harder for a company who doesn’t value their time, effort, or experience. Everyone is fed up with being told raises are coming just to be four months into the year with no raises in sight.
