Pros
Team environment was alright, the hours were great because they will NOT pay overtime, so never worry about staying past 5:00pm. - Paid vacations though time slots are picked by seniority so forget about "home for the holidays"
Cons
Citizen's is currently going through a full transition to offer every branch utilizing the Universal Banker system - which means that people hired as Tellers are now required to be sales people. Sales isn't for everybody which most people with any business acumen knows however EVERYONE must now SELL. The attempt to achieve results for a large market bank in a recessed former coal community with the vast majority of customers on fixed incomes is to Micro-Manage everybody to an unbelievable level. The mentality that if people can't sell - we will implement so many processes put in place by people so distant from the sales process itself that results MUST come through! The expectations of upper management are very high as maybe they should be at 12th and Market in Philadelphia, however the branches on the fringe don't stand a chance. The recent "unveiling" of the P&L incentive program is great, only it has NOTHING to do with true Profit and Loss, it's just another way to try to spark some juice into a horse that has been beaten relentlessly. The interoffice politics are something as seen on an episode of your least favorite reality TV show and everybody wants to get out. Morale couldn't be lower and it is for the reasons I've stated above.
