Very sales oriented without any actual incentive. Overwhelming. They love to overwork their bankers into doing everything at the branch. Wants you to bring in huge investment clients without giving you any actual incentive to do so. Will overwork you to get those referrals in every Tuesday ‘call’ night. Very convoluted incentive / compensation structure causing conflicts among bankers, bankers and PCRMs, Among PCRMs and so on. And trouble with back office people almost on a daily basis. Limited room for career improvement as higher management prefers outside talents instead of home-growing them. If you’re looking for promotions / career improvements, they’ll hang that carrot in front of you for years as they overwork you into the ground. TLDR: g ok to Citizens for a decent salary and chill time but not if you have greater aspirations.
