Pros
Co-workers were upbeat, smart, supportive of one another for the most part, willing to cross-train those who wanted to learn new skills. Most people had creative endeavors going on outside of work and the co-workers and company were supportive of the work-life balance thing. Company was open to innovating and trying new management styles and creating new products for the marketplace. Which is great but also has a downside.
Cons
Mgmt tried lots of new mgmt styles, some were a bit excessive like mgrs had to give reviews to their employees once a month and formal written reviews every 3 months. They also tried the whole 360 interview thing where the whole dept interviews a potential new hire. Don't know if they still do this. It's not a bad idea but hard to do for every position. The company tried lots of new products as well, but didn't give them long enough to catch on with the public before pulling the plug and going on to a new product.
