Pros

Technology is very interesting. The coworkers are great both in US and in Israel and the company has great market potential.

Cons

Very toxic CEO. His unbearable attitude and lack of social skills trickle down to every worker. This makes working at Civ very stressful. Also both founders lack any experience and it is evident in the lack of decision making for the company's future.

Pros

Civ is a really exciting company to be part of. The team is smart, collaborative, and genuinely cares about building something meaningful. There’s a lot of opportunity to learn, take ownership, and contribute in a meaningful way.

Cons

Like many growing companies, processes are still evolving, so there can be some ambiguity at times and things can move quickly.

Pros

I worked at the company for about two years and overall had a really great experience. It’s an amazing place to be if you love working with cool robotics technology and want to actually see your work out in the field making a difference. One of the biggest things I noticed is how much the culture and the general vibe in the office improved over time. When I first joined it was already a good place, but as the company grew, the founders really put in the effort to make it a more positive and enjoyable environment. You can feel the difference — everything runs a lot smoother now and I genuinely enjoyed coming to work every day. I’m also excited for the direction the company is heading. They’re working on new technologies, expanding into new areas, and you really feel like you’re part of something that’s growing fast. If I wasn’t moving out of state, I would have definitely stayed.

Cons

If I had to mention cons, I’d say that sometimes you might need to put in an extra hour or two to finish something urgent, which is pretty normal for a growing startup. Depending on your role, there can also be some travel involved. When I joined, they didn’t have a 401k yet, but they recently added it once they reached the required number of employees.
