      Cons

      Clare was the most toxic work environment I have ever witnessed. The founder Nicole is unsupportive, puts down employees (telling talented people they are bad at their jobs regularly), does not set clear expectations, and the list goes on. I would end each day in tears, shaking from stress. The turnover at the company is insane. There is a reason why the same roles are constantly opening every few months. Nicole sees her team as disposable and only cares about herself. You will not be able to learn or grow in your career at Clare.

      Pros

      It was great to work with so many highly intelligent, hard working, fun people. The product is truly special, and the founder is a great story teller. That makes it a lot of fun to work on most projects, across departments. There are also great perks that I didn't expect from a remote company. Free lunches, etc.

      Cons

      Most people are spread thin. To be expected with a growing startup, but it did lead to some projects being delayed since there just wasn't enough time.
