Pros

Decent Pay, reasonable amount of time off.

Cons

One of the most toxic environments (both literally - lead, and in the culture). There is no "leadership" in the entire company from the top down, only managers to the metrics and profits... Kernersville site especially is in very bad shape. (Ask what the average and typical salaried tenure is there for starters). Massive layoffs in the past several months and many others have left. Some people have left without other jobs just so they could get out. The current plant environments is one of the worst I have encountered in my decades long career. (Very unprofessional, toxic, unfriendly, and just in general very miserable to be around). The Kernersville site has been through many staff level managers in the past 4 years and it has been in "turn-around" mode for at least 4 years. If you hear the words "turn-around", it means don't walk for the doors, run!!!!

Sorry to see your 1-star rating and can appreciate your advice to job seekers as asking a lot of questions is always fabulous advice. We do manufacturing car batteries (lead-acid batteries) with very special environments that are not for everyone - safety procedures, PPE, etc. Thank you for pointing those things out.
