Pros
Claris Health allows employees to excel in their gifts and talents. I've watched many people, including myself, grow from part-time assisting roles to full-time leadership roles. There's an opportunity to collaborate and to make a real difference in the lives of people served as well as on the staff team. Additionally, the company is very respectful of hourly and nonexempt employees and abides by all applicable laws. I feel valued, respected, and heard by the team as well as the Board.
Cons
As a nonprofit, the company is still relatively small and there people often wear many hats. Due to budget constraints, salaries are still modest compared to for-profit or larger nonprofit agencies. Compared to similar organizations with similar budgets, however, the pay and benefits are quite good.
