Pros
They allow you to dress down and were flexible with schedule in most cases. Some staff were helpful and friendly. Benefits were fair but a bit costly.
Cons
Manager makes constant promises to train and work with you on issues related to billing that needs attention but never delivers. You are always met with an excuse or she is a no show. Manager takes credit for everything. Employees never receive any compliments when they do a good job... EVER. Manager takes all the credit and the employee is talked about negatively behind their backs. Manager makes false promises and then is a "No Show" when it's time to work on things. Very frustrating. Morale goes down quickly. You don't get to see much accomplished because of this. Manager covers her tracks well so the upper management does not see it. There is no interest in staff. If you say anything, you will be marked and treated differently. I finally realized the manager was afraid of me doing a better job than her, and that is why she would never allow me to work on much of anything. She didn't want her superiors catching on. She loved the praises from above and like to make it look like staff were lazy and complacent. I had 3 basic functions, and most of my days were sitting with nothing to do. I would ask on a weekly basis to help out or learn more and would be met with excuses... No time.. Too busy.. I forgot.. We'll meet tomorrow (then no show). After asking for months, I just stopped. By 10 months, I was done and finally moved on. Turn-over is very high at this company. You are just a number here. I was paid well to sit and be quiet but there was no sense of accomplishment on much. After being promised many opportunities, you find out there are none. When I tried to talk with the Director who is now the CEO, she told me to take my manager out to breakfast. Really?? After I tried to explain I needed assistance in trying to get more work and training on things promised since I started that the manager would always dodge doing. That was the resolution to the problem. Once I asked for assistance with this, I was marked. Very dishonest culture.
