Cons

This company aka Cleanenergygroup.co, and aka cleancommericalgroup is based in Australia and claims they can provide commercial solar leads to installers and contractors to reach decision makers. They are more hype and hustlers than anything. They are trying to break into the US with no real office here. Nice people but they have no proven record, and are basically clueless about what it takes to do business in the US. Been unprepared and they have poor training and communication. And they supply no formal hiring agreement. Company relies on double talk. They refuse to supply any verifiable list of reviews or referrals. They tell installers the leads are customized and exclusive and won't overlap with other companies but no way to prove that. There's no stats on success rate or business that was generated after leads are supplied. They claim on their site about getting a demo but there is none. There's no guarantee of their leads for the contractors. Installers mostly get no business or response back from potential clients, and they don't trust this company. Various unsatisfied clients. Regarding their employees, their ad said base + commission but really hiring on commission only. Said you can work a small amount of hours daily, but takes more daily hours. Said you can make a lot of money and can close a high % of contacts. No way, and job requires a constant chase and many follows ups. There's a small amount of leads given and replaced basically only when you make a sale, so it's hard to keep doing business under that condition. They have no idea what the installers can afford, or whether they are first breaking into commercial solar. It takes time to close a sale. Installers are hard to reach, must chase and track them down, many don't respond before or after, aren't serious, etc. Plus their company loses track and has overlapping leads for reps too.
