Pros

There are no Pros to working for Clean POV.

Cons

I do not recommend working for this company. Owner Patty Searl put in writing last pay cheque is in the mail with no intentions of paying last paycheck I rightfully earned. As per other reviews on this company, all is consistently true.Quite disappointed in the owner of this company as she comes across nice when one first meets her.

Pros

Easy money, but that's the only pro I can think of

Cons

The owner claims she is flexible with your schedule, however, it has been proven many times that she is not. When an "employee" calls in sick they risk losing their job. Everyone is a contractor so she can save money, however, everything points to them being employees. She is unaware of the law regarding this. Makes her weekly newsletters about herself rather than her company. Talks negatively about certain employees to other employees. Has unrealistic expectations for cleaners to get from one end of the city to another to complete jobs. Very unprofessional when a complaint is made against her, instead of taking the criticism lightly and looking to make herself better she goes into defence mode. Honestly, the list goes on, if you don't want someone talking poorly about you once you quit and potentially ruining any future chances you have at cleaning then don't work for Clean POV.

Pros

Flexible hours and nice co-workers, some really great clients.

Cons

Inconsistency in bookings make budgeting or working outside of the company impossible. Charges for 'supplies' and punitive charges a real negative. Changes in scheduling can happen overnight and refusal of that work can lead to cash penalties and wage deductions. Very confused business model, unclear whether we were employees or sub-contractors. Lots of fluffy words, very little substance.
