Pros

Benefits but they are increasing yearly

Cons

After 23 years the general atmosphere has changed significantly. Workers are not valued. They are just a number and will be replaced tomorrow. There is no retention of the hard working employees who lead and know depts inside and out. Hiring someone with a degree and zero experience over someone who gas been in a department for years who knows the job already. Managers stealing work from employees under them. HR is not helpful and you get retaliated against when you raise concerns. Pay Grades over lap and some people in same job could be making 15-20k more than the next person. In general pay is significantly lower than most companies. Workers comp doesnt support the injured. You are treated like a criminal and have to ask for permission to get medical treatment. They will refuse treatment as well when you have a medical diagnosis from a physician. Management preach about being professional but no one replies to emails or concerns. In general the facilities are dirty and major things are covered up to protect the name. Impossible to advance career.

Pros

Health insurance and maternity benefits are great, though some people have been aggravated by the addition of a deductible in 2026. There is also decent tuition reimbursement, but you need to carefully read all of the policies as the wording can be tricky and even HR doesn't understand all of their own policies.

Cons

Pay seems inconsistent and raises are a joke, getting lower and later every year. PTO is decent but keep in mind that getting paid for holidays comes from that PTO and plan accordingly. HR is a complete JOKE! They never answer, don't seem to understand any of their policies, and have no idea what they are doing. It takes weeks to get ahold of anyone, and they are the farthest from helpful I've ever experienced. Retirement matching is based on years of service, they will put the money in the account but only vest after 3 years so don't count on the amount it shows unless you know 100% for sure you will be there more than 3 years.
