Pros
Clickthrough did offer opportunities for career progression, but it required persistent effort and a fair amount of follow-up to make any significant headway. Clickthrough is a good stepping stone job for gaining experience. It provided me with a good foundation to build skills that helped me secure the job I really wanted.
Cons
I did not enjoy my time working at Clickthrough particularly and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a positive and supportive work culture. The atmosphere was often toxic, with a lot of office politics and cattiness. It felt like there was little room for open communication or collaboration. Management tends to be very set in their ways, resistant to change or new ideas. Additionally, career progression is incredibly slow and difficult. You often have to nag and push for recognition or advancement, as there’s little initiative taken to support your growth. Overall, the work environment made it hard to feel motivated or valued. If you're looking for a company where you can thrive in a healthy, positive culture and have clear opportunities for career development, this is probably not the right place.
Clickthrough tends to be less progressive and innovative when it comes to pitching to clients. The approach can feel a bit outdated, and there’s limited emphasis on creative or forward-thinking strategies. This may be a challenge for those looking for a more dynamic, cutting-edge work environment. Also, the office needs a renovation as well it’s very dated.
