Pros

Incredible in-house culture, close-knit distributed team lead by inspirational co-founder, awesome online community supporting growth in a progressive vertical, CloudPeeps is an exciting place to work. The freedom of working in a distributed team challenges you to be accountable, communicative and act independently for the common good. It's a highly rewarding environment if you're passionate about what you do and has a desire to work hard.

Cons

The startup world is an incredibly dynamic place and the level of change does not suit everyone. If constant change causes you discomfort or fear, it's likely this environment won't suit you. Also, if you prefer to received strict instruction from your manager, this environment may be hard to navigate as you're expected to understand your position and go for it.

Pros

CloudPeeps is a remote first-company and follows through on its claim to be one! Using top tools like Slack for communication and Justworks for payments and of course their own platform, it's a breeze to work for them remotely. More importantly though, the CloudPeeps team is wonderful to work with. Shoutout to Kate for assembling an amazing group of people to build CloudPeeps :)

Cons

Was at times hard to work on development of specific features due to lack of clarity in regards to my role on the development team

Pros

It's been amazing to be a part of the CloudPeeps team from very early on, and has given me the ability to really understand the trajectory of the company as a whole. One of the biggest pros of working at CloudPeeps is the commitment the team has to open communication and transparency. Working remotely can be a challenge, and it's been great to see how the team has remained committed to building a positive company culture regardless of location. Another perk is the opportunity to be a part of an early stage team where I can get my hands dirty in a number of aspects of the company. Each day differs from the next, and that type of diversity was something that appealed to me from the very beginning of my work here.

Cons

As with any early stage startup, it can be daunting when you realize just how much work needs to be put in on a daily basis to make a company truly successful. Thankfully the leadership is committed to ensuring proper work/life balance for all team members, and recognizes the need for time to unplug.
