In my personal experience, senior management had no plan for the career progression of staff, which was exacerbated by an inability to delegate work or provide growth opportunities.
Some of the management team seemed to lack management experience, not making clear who owned what tasks in the team, meaning frequent clarification or work not getting done.
Morale was generally low in the team, seemingly from senior management downwards, which in my experience led to a very impersonal culture where tasks would either be dictated or not clearly communicated.
Training and staff handover was poorly planned or not considered. Across the company, team members would not be told when their colleagues were leaving the company, meaning handovers were rushed.
