A lot of people were fired in the last weeks.
The reason, employees were told, was Corona. That came very surprisingly for everybody. The company seemed to be in good shape, at least that's what we have been told in the last few months. “We are doing ok” was a sentence that was said multiple times from the C-Level in the General Meeting. Two weeks later, people were fired and offices were shut down.
So, there are some questions coming up:
Where did that all come from all of a sudden?
If Cloudflight is in such a bad state, why was there never short time work until October 2020?
Why was the company still hiring throughout the year?
Did the C-Level sleep during the last months?
What role does the investor play in all that?
Are all the dismissals REALLY because of Corona? I mean how many tech companies are struggling right now? (Not so many, I guess.)
Was there really no other way than dismissing people, especially in a time with so much uncertainty?
Should it not be the HIGHEST priority of a company to protect their people in a worldwide pandemic?
