Pros

- environment & people very friendly - work was challenging with learning curves, but the environment allowed me to cultivate my learning

Cons

- there may be a slight generational gap, depending what team or area, regarding certain technologies. but everyone’s still smart and a professional/master in their own niches

Pros

Management of ClubLabs is solid. Engineering management is ALWAYS advocating for us, pushing for adoption of modern tech, and setting us up for personal/career growth.

Cons

Management outside of ClubLabs (at the AAA level) is the reason for the low review score. CEO is vehemently against work from home, and even in times such as these won’t make exceptions. Non-customer-facing employees who can and have been working from home effectively are being asked to return to the office for no other reason than “we like to be able to see you”. “Culture” was cited as to the reason that software development teams needed to put themselves and their families at risk, when there is clear evidence that we are just as/more productive while working from home. The talks setup to break the news to digital teams has been patronizing, as executives regurgitate the lines from the top. “You’re lucky to be employed”, “We didn’t have to let anyone work from home”, “Essential businesses may handle the situation however they like”, are just some of the reasons levied to address employee concerns.
