Coastal Roots Hospitality sets the bar high when it comes to hospitality and professionalism, and they expect their team to match that energy. For employees who are hardworking, ambitious, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is a place where you can grow quickly and be rewarded for your efforts. The pay is very competitive, and the employee benefits are some of the best you’ll find in the Bay, truly above industry standards.

Management is tough and direct. Some may interpret it as overly strict or even “abusive,” but in reality, it comes down to whether you're willing to meet high expectations consistently. This is not the place for someone who wants to coast — if you’re not giving 100%, you’ll hear about it.

Decent pay and subpar benefits

Toxic leadership from Ken Donkersloot. Clearly he wrote a review about himself right after a bad review was posted. There is no current Office Manager at Coastal Roots and it’s 100% the owner writing about a position he has not been in just to help fix his employee rating on this site. Ken doesn’t respect the people who work directly with him and thinks because he pays people well they should put up with being yelled at and talked down to.
