HS Kids are 1099 - not employees - Sensei Code Ninjas Employee Review

They hire naïve HS kids who do not understand they are 1099, rather than W2 employees. Problem is kid is surprised in January about SS/Medicare tax & state employment tax. This is really cheesy and cheap. Hard to get enough hours.
